Welcome to the real world

Today was my first day at work which was nice yet scary. We don't find out our division or court assignments until Thursday and the anticipation is killer. Everyone is very nice and I am glad to be working with a good group of people. There are about 11 people who were hired with me and are both classmates and friends (sweet). The day seemed to drag on and on which wasn't good since by 2pm I was so sleepy from the pain killers that I was having a hard time staying awake. Additionally it was just a long day since I was away from Nick without being able to really contact him (of course we texted/emailed but its not the same). I sure do miss him during the day. He was really sweet and has been taking such good care of me. He has cleaned and dressed my wounds, made my appointment for tomorrow, drove me to and picked me up from work, and made sure I was nice and comfy once I got home...He is truly the best hubby ever
